“So this is probably a stupid question, but I'm honestly wondering how anyone consumes at least 1200 calories/day? I eat a bunch during the day but after working out the most my net intake ever is is between 400-900 calories. If you have any advice on what I can do to consume more calories that would be great. Sorry for such a dumb question haha.”
What type of food are you eating? If you’re eating a bunch of food are you counting calories correctly? Are you counting everything you eat, including fruit, veggies, and condiments? 1200 is just a general number, it doesn’t apply to everyone. If you have plenty of energy and are able to function on what you eat now, don’t worry about meeting a certain number. Your body will tell you if it needs more fuel. If you feel like you need more energy I would recommend things like peanut butter and whole wheat pasta as healthy high calorie foods you could eat. You could also try Cliff or Luna bars as a snack between meals or after your workouts.

Thank you for answering this, I was actually wondering about this. I think my highest intake is around 900, but I have plenty of energy :). So yeah this makes me feel a lot better :).
