Sunday’s Workout 2/19/12
I had a pretty mild workout today, but it felt great. I went to the gym and did a little cardio and weight lifting.
I practiced handstand kick ups a few times throughout the day. I managed to get one foot on the wall for a split second, which is progress for me. I also practiced splits, crow, tripod headstand and forearm stand. Crow is still a struggle but I’m getting better and better at my headstand and forearm stand.
I also got to spend some time with my adorable nephews and other family today.
Tomorrow all I have to do is go to the gym. I’m so glad I don’t have work or school.
Workout:
Elliptical 20 min, 1.75 miles at high incline
Biceps & Triceps:
- Pull-Up: 10 reps assisted 70 lbs, 10 reps assisted 70 lb ,5 reps assisted 60 lbs
- Triceps Dips: 10 reps assisted 70 lbs, 10 reps assisted 70 lb ,5 reps assisted 60 lbs
- Seated Cable Row: 55 lbs x 10 reps, 3x
- Standing Dumbbell Upright Row: 10 lbs x 10 reps, 3x
- Barbell Bench Press: 30 lbs x 10 reps, 3x
- Bicep Curls: 8 lbs x 12 reps, 3x
Yoga for the Splits - each side
Yoga inversions practice 15 min
