Free Online Yoga Videos

There are some great sources of free online yoga to be found on the magical internet. I’m going to share all the ones I’ve found, but first you may want to check out this.

The (Free!) Real Player allows you to quickly download any online video. There is a trim tool which allows you to cut away any part of a video if there is too much talking or you want to play short videos in a sequence to get the exact type of work out you want. It has a dvd burn tool, but that only is on the Premium version which you have to pay for. Most new computers come with a dvd burning program on them anyway so you can use that instead if you want to make dvds.

Downloading these videos is a good idea because you never know if they are suddenly going to be taken down. Also if you travel and do not have internet access you can still watch the videos. Or if you have slow/crappy/unreliable internet (like me) that would be a great idea.

After you download the program it automatically shows a small box on the top right corner of a video once you hit play. Its stored in the Real Player library for you to watch any time.

Now on to the actual videos.

Tara Stiles’ YouTube has over 100 videos. To be honest she freaks me out a little bit because she is so skinny, but her videos are pretty good. There is a wide variety of short videos for whatever you want to work on, i.e flexibility, strength, abs, butt, meditation, etc.

Yoga Journal Podcast has a lot of good video ranging from 20-45 minutes. They also have a 21 Day Challenge with 21 different works outs. I’m not sure if these will be available forever so download them asap. I especially love the videos from Kathryn Budig.

Here is a 20 minute Thighs, Hips & Bums video from has over 200 full length yoga classes that you can watch for around $100 for a year. They have a free full length class every week and Light Practice 4-10 minute videos that are free. These would be great to clip and put together in your own customized yoga work out.

That’s it for now. When I find more free online yoga videos I will share them here.
